# faq

<details>

<summary>Is GetRekt a Lighter interface?</summary>

GetRekt uses Lighter as its market-price source and settles synthetic positions against its own LP on Sui. It does not place a matching Lighter order for every position, and it does not use Hyperliquid execution or a HyperCore precompile.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I use 2000× on every trade?</summary>

2000× is the new specification's maximum, not a guaranteed available setting. Market exposure, collateral and oracle checks can reduce the usable limit or reject a trade. The repository still has the old 2100× ceiling until implementation is updated.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Where is my money?</summary>

Accepted assets are native USDC on Sui. An open cash-backed position locks its margin. A queued claim is a protocol liability, not a separate coin or a bank deposit. Deployment addresses will be published after verification.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why can a winner have to wait?</summary>

The LP starts at zero. When it lacks enough cash, unpaid profits enter FIFO. Only later available LP cash can pay them; there is no guaranteed payment date.

</details>

<details>

<summary>What does “no funding” mean?</summary>

There is no recurring funding payment based on how long a position stays open. Profit adjustments, protocol fees, network gas and possible bridge fees still exist.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How much does a referrer get?</summary>

For an eligible cash loss, 30% of the amount remaining after the 2% fee: 29.4 USDC on a 100 USDC loss. Debt losses, deposits and unrealized losses do not generate referral rewards. [Referral fees](broken://pages/4ae98f6aa1e3c0a457110b4f9eefb1d3448a99a6).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do debt losses earn $REKT?</summary>

Yes, under the new specification. They count toward the same platform-wide halving counter as cash losses. They reduce liabilities but do not add USDC to the LP or referral reserve.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I transfer or sell $REKT?</summary>

The current implementation uses an internal, nontransferable reward ledger. No standard transferable REKT Coin, listing or exchange liquidity has been deployed. A ticker does not create transferability.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is the supply 21 million?</summary>

No. The new curve has a theoretical asymptote of 200 billion $REKT before implementation-specific rounding. This is not a currently enforced on-chain cap. [Mint curve](broken://pages/924b816ae9e73e9b9573ea8c2a455bcd1e3b9187).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can the team change the rules?</summary>

Upgrade authority and governance capabilities matter even without an arbitrary mint function. Read [Governance and permissions](broken://pages/352822369258b2da16f7a295a15dc1081f8c0021) for the actual powers, constraints and unfinished deployment controls.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Is getrekt.trade live?</summary>

It is the specified product domain. This documentation update does not register it or configure DNS. The existing development preview remains separate, and the protocol is not live.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.getrekt.trade/docs/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
