# pricing

GetRekt uses a validated Lighter best-bid/best-ask midpoint as its synthetic execution reference. Sui does not natively read Lighter's orderbook and does not have the HyperCore pricing precompile described in Papertrade's architecture.

## How a quote reaches Sui

A relay retrieves Lighter market data and submits an update through its configured oracle capability. The Move oracle checks identity, ordering, timestamp, spread, and consistency with an independent Pyth reference. Transactions read the accepted on-chain quote and apply their own price bounds and validity constraints.

This is a trusted relay architecture with checks. It is not a Lighter light client or a cryptographic proof of the whole orderbook. Pyth checks reduce accepted disagreement; they do not remove relay trust or guarantee continuous operation.

## What can reject a quote?

Stale or future timestamps, replayed sequences, incorrect market identity, excessive BBO spread, excessive Pyth confidence width, or excessive difference between the two sources can make a quote unusable. A valid feed update does not mean every leverage setting is available.

The current reference code also applies:

```
leverage × uncertainty_ppm ≤ 100,000
```

At 2000×, this allows at most 50 ppm under that check, before considering any stricter constraints. Uncertainty includes the configured source and age components. The target maximum therefore requires unusually tight data quality and cannot be promised for every quote.

## Execution expectations

GetRekt does not walk an orderbook based on your order size or add a separate buy/sell markup. The underlying Lighter BBO still has a spread used by the quality checks. The quote can change between display and execution; a user-specified bound must prevent an unacceptable fill.

The [asymmetric adjustment](broken://pages/ff0bee99a927ff20ef1e924a6b4131f14dfb165a) reduces positive PnL after pricing. It is an economic cost even though the execution reference is a midpoint. An order on GetRekt is not an order on Lighter.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.getrekt.trade/pricing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
